Barb    Acrylic on Canvas with barbed wire attached         SOLD

As I worked on painting this snow covered barn and surrounding outbuildings, these icy rocks started emerging and the abstract landscape seemed to take on a life of its own.  The mangled and rusted barbed wire seemed to work itself into the design.  I stitched it to the canvas and continued to paint around it until it “came together”.
