The faces of cows are interesting. I recall studying the face of our beef cow, Brown Baby when I watered her.  It was one of my daily chores when I was in Elementary school. Then later, I fed many Holstein calves from a bucket with a nipple on the side. Cows peering over fences and grazing in roadside pastures continuously catch my eye. After seeing some photos of Florida cows taken by my friend Trish, I asked for permission to use them for a painting. Splicing, cropping and collaging resulted in the composition for this painting. The shapes remind me of children’s memo cards, thus the title.
